As a Certified Breastfeeding Educator (CBE) serving the Jacksonville area, I am excited to partner with local postpartum care providers to offer in-office Breastfeeding 101 classes. I am also happy to offer private on-line classes as well as private in-home classes to fit all your comfort needs.

Breastfeeding 101 is a course designed for expectant parents who are thinking about or planning to breastfeed. The class is a comprehensive, evidence-based, judgement-free breastfeeding class.

Some of the topics that will be discussed are as follows:

  • Importance of breastfeeding for mommy and baby

  • How does breastfeeding work

  • Getting the best start

  • Positioning and latching

  • Common breastfeeding problems and treatments

  • Taking care of yourself

  • And so much more!

I am eager to provide you and your partner the education needed to choose what feels right for you and baby’s breastfeeding journey.
