As a Certified Breastfeeding Educator (CBE) serving the Jacksonville area, I am excited to partner with local postpartum care providers to offer in-office Breastfeeding 101 classes. I am also happy to offer private on-line classes as well as private in-home classes to fit all your comfort needs.
Breastfeeding 101 is a course designed for expectant parents who are thinking about or planning to breastfeed. The class is a comprehensive, evidence-based, judgement-free breastfeeding class.
Some of the topics that will be discussed are as follows:
Importance of breastfeeding for mommy and baby
How does breastfeeding work
Getting the best start
Positioning and latching
Common breastfeeding problems and treatments
Taking care of yourself
And so much more!
